The National Catholic Education Commission’s 2016 Conference will be held in Perth from June 19-22, in conjunction with Catholic Education WA. Hundreds of leaders of Catholic education in Australia and from overseas will attend the meeting.
The conference theme is “Faith to Lead. Lead to Faith”, and the program will centre around four key educational strands: LEAD – Learning, Engagement, Accountability and Discipleship.
Bishop Christopher Saunders of Broome, Catholic author and leadership expert Chris Lowney, child health researcher Professor Donna Cross, international education expert Alma Harris and learning strategist, researcher and innovator Simon Breakspear have all been confirmed as keynote presenters for the conference.
The Australian Catholic Superannuation & Retirement Fund and the La Salle Academy for Faith Formation and Religious Education at Australian Catholic University are the conference’s principal partners.
